Fucking July of the 4th - Mometum of Ideas

Let's celebrate independence from tyranny and dogma and movement toward the infinite.

"woke up quick at about noon..."

And I highly recommend Magic-Flight in the morning. In one word, "fresh."

And if you're clueless about what that is, hey! Ignorance is supposedly blissful.

June 14 - 2013 - New Pictures on Flickr - Enjoy!

I don't have too much time to spend with this blog these days. I'm quite busy and lucky if I can digitize works for my own personal record, much less put them online to the multitude of websites.

I will try to put things online with Lightroom (a program I edit images with) on Flickr.

Flickr has a nice interface if you're going to take a glance at my work. Click the image or link below.

Enjoy! May your days be beautiful.

Chinese Walls

Here are some random images from walls scattered throughout China. Top to bottom, east and west, you'll find scatters of paint in various arrangements on architectural surfaces all over the place.

Temple Gate

Like it without the halo too...

Apparently, have been doubly posting to the other blog when intending posts to go here.

Difficulties arise as Chinese censorship lessens. How about that new Chinese fellow, Xi Jinping? Better than the other guy? God, we almost had another Mao, what a murderously corrupt beast among beasts.

Now Wikipedia is accessible in China, so I'm able to legally read about the 14th Dalai Lama's comments related to various mantras and their relationship to various positive lines of personal progression on an enlightened path toward enlightenment - linguistic magic.

Would you dare argue music to lack such magic? The Chinese might, Youtube is still blocked, it's a great source of new music.

I haven't slept in some time so this may make less sense with time.

Beautiful Colors - China

Nanjing, Rooftops

Sketchbook Cover 2011 - July
Serious thoughts come together fall backward and loop as we think to bring comedy into our conversations about genocide, inequity, or inequality and if it will loosen people up to accepting the topic as a viable point of departure for future thought-flight, like a blinding flash of light before we rocket through the stratosphere (what's a heliosphere?) to the sound of thousands of waterfalls, although, I wonder if the right ears will hear. If not, it'll be entertaining if it's funny.

The Sorcerer - Bakery

Finished

The narrative could be seen as beginning on the left. A sort of creation moment or a spark of light creates the heavens. Space becomes complex and eventually gives way to some kind of mask that blows out color from a pipe.

This could be a pipe for smoking or for music making and the sound is some kind of abstract expressionistic colorful array. A great red triangle lies in the corner symbolizing the Tao.

Then the story goes back to it's creation point. Looping in some kind of fractal-splash of a ... I've had too much rum and can't write.

List: Entheogenic epigenetic evolution of consciousness as it surfs the waves of possibility-space where past and future are one and everything is happening all of the time right now and only now.

Joe Rogan, Duncann Trussel, Brian Redban

Comedians are some of the most eloquently intelligent types to listen to. Funny too.

While I paint I often listen to lectures and things like this. You never know, maybe something will expand your mind a little further, and that's always a good thing.

Real changes - and your ability to make them

"Quantum mechanics clearly shows that nothing can be predetermined, no matter how events may appear. Not only is ours a small world, it is a Zen world after all. You may object and claim that you can't change because people remember how you are, that you are powerless to change anything. But the indivisible quantum of shapable action proves you wrong.
/
Even our concept of memory needs revision. The unrelentless quantum shows that the past as well as the future, is created. There is no past. There is no future. We create both, continuously and in unpredictable ways. This is it. There are no hidden messages. If, for only an instant, you sense this overwhelming fact of your existence, it will alster your future now as you hold this book in your hands. You can't help but sense a feeling of power. No one knows you. You know no one."

I stole this book from a library as a teenager. Found I still love it.  :) Andes
I have altered the past once, the future, zero times.

Alex Grey 'and I'm tellin all a yall it's a sabotage'

Always been a fan of his work, but didn't know that this painting was Beastie Boys cover for "Ill Communication" A fantastic album which has the song "Sabotage"

Great song which yells at us something like "[tellin all of yall it's a sabotage]"

The painting is but one of the collective consciousness's manifestation of consciousness events of the future within the past. Don't know what that is? You're leading a less than fulfilled life, read Carl Jung or listen to him talk on Youtube, it'll take about 3-30 minutes of your life.

Painting's title; Gaia. Did you notice the Twin Towers & two planes & or the guy looking like G. W. Bush? Notice anything else?

Can't stress the fascination with which I listened to him talk.
You can find a talk here: : http://vimeo.com/51183297

Sabotage video below the painting titled "Gaia."

The Cats Of Mirikitani

The Cats Of Mirikitani | Home

This film is about an American master artist of Japanese ancestry. He was in the concentration camps in the US and many of his works relate back to this theme of unjust imprisonment where many innocents died. He was recently "discovered" living on the streets of Manhattan where he would trade his paintings for anything he might need.

A so little-expressed, and so greatly needed, voice of empathy and compassion for what humanity does to itself and its environment. After the fall of the Twin Towers in New York he moved in with a film maker who continued to making a documentary on him and his work.
